Este sábado se dio inicio oficialmente a la tan esperada Liga Juvenil de Baloncesto de Aguadulce – Torneo Rotativo 2025, con una jornada cargada de energía, talento y pasión por el deporte, celebrada en la cancha de El Carmen de Pocrí. El acto inaugural contó con la distinguida presencia del Honorable Alcalde del distrito, Cristian Eccles, y el Honorable Diputado Jorge Herrera, patrocinadores y firmes impulsores del desarrollo del baloncesto juvenil en el distrito.
La jornada inaugural presentó dos electrizantes encuentros que dejaron claro que esta liga promete espectáculo de principio a fin.

Primer Juego – Aguadulce Centro 53 – 50 Pueblos UnidosUn partido de alto voltaje que se mantuvo parejo desde el salto entre dos hasta los últimos segundos. Por Aguadulce Centro destacaron Celedonio Mendoza (SELE) con 17 puntos y Nelson Herrera (NELSIN) con 12 unidades, pero fueron Martín Robles y Agustín Riddell quienes, con gran temple, anotaron los tiros libres decisivos en los instantes finales para asegurar la victoria.
Por parte de Pueblos Unidos, Antonio Pedreschi brilló con 16 puntos, seguido de Jesús González con 13. El cierre fue de película, cuando Pedreschi lanzó desde la media cancha en el último segundo: el balón giró sobre el aro, levantando al público de sus asientos, pero finalmente no entró. ¡Un partido digno de una gran inauguración!

Segundo Juego – Pocrí 74 – 49 Barrios UnidosEl conjunto de Pocrí demostró profundidad de plantilla y contundencia en la segunda mitad del encuentro. Wilfredo Bonilla (WIL) lideró el marcador con 21 puntos, mientras que José Letona sumó 15 puntos clave. Aunque Barrios Unidos inició con fuerza, destacando Manuel Acosta (CHAMO) con 24 puntos y Fernando Castillo (FER) con 10, el equipo no pudo mantener el ritmo durante los cuartos finales, permitiendo que Pocrí ampliara su ventaja y sellara una victoria cómoda.
